The project is the first for the Pittsburgh Innovative Media Incubator, a co-venture between Steeltown Entertainment Project and WQED funded by the R.K. Mellon Foundation, a new model for doing television which could be transformative for the region and the industry.

In 2003, Jamie, along with director Rob Marshall ("Chicago", "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides"), manager Eric Gold (Jim Carrey), producer Bernie Goldmann ("300") and writer Peter Ackerman ("Ice Age") and other Pittsburgh expatriates came home for the "Steeltown Entertainment Summit", where they were part of a film "[Pittsburgh: Hollywood's Best Kept Secret](http://www.steeltown.org/growingpittsburgh.php)" that talked about this city's potential to be a player in the entertainment industry. With "Dark Knight Rises" and the new Tom Cruise movie shooting here and talent like Jamie returning to use their talents, thanks to the efforts of many in this city, the "secret" is definitely out.

[Jonh Yost](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1067403/), of [Mogul Mind Studios](http://www.mogulmind.com/index.html) and [FILM FACTORY](www.steeltownfilmfactory.org/) judge, gets a motion picture to come to the Steel City creating jobs and an economic boost for Pittsburgh!
Actor and President/CEO of [Mogul Mind Studios](http://www.mogulmind.com/index.html), [John Yost](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1067403/) is a native Pittsbugher and [FILM FACTORY](www.steeltownfilmfactory.org/) judge who encourages others to believe in themselves, shows Pittsburgh we can now believe in its filmmaking future. [Mogul Mind Studios](http://www.mogulmind.com/index.html) is located in Strip District of downtown Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh based studio has grabbed the attention of Twentieth Century Fox and the film, "[Unstoppable](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0477080/)." The film is a $100 million motion picture that will star [Denzel Washington. ](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000243/)

This piece of Hollywood headed for the Steel City could bring in about 250 jobs and $60 million for the local economy. Pittsburgh's [Mogul Mind Studio's](http://www.mogulmind.com/index.html) recent accomplishment can add nothing but positive things to the [Pennsylvania Film Tax Credit program](http://www.newpa.com/find-and-apply-for-funding/funding-and-program-finder/funding-detail/index.aspx?progId=181) and to the Steel City. [Margaret Loesch](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0517310/), the executive producer on "[R.L. Stine Presents: The Haunting Hour - Don't Think About It](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0905994/)," is now developing "The Haunting Hour" as a possible television series. Loesch says there are many shows in development so it could be a long shot but should it go to series, Pittsburgh would be considered as a possible filming location.
The film, which was produced by Steeltown Entertainment Project, aired on the Cartoon Network in 2006 and was released on DVD. The ratings and DVD sales were high but Cartoon Network wasn't interested in additional films in the series. This can most likely be attributed to a change in executives at the Network.

Loesch is currently in charge of [The Hub](http://www.animationinsider.net/article.php?articleID=2318), the new Discovery-Hasbro collaboration channel that targets kids ages 3-12 with an emphasis on kids 6-12. They are interested in developing the movie into a TV series. She says the project is still a long way from forming into anything but it is possible that it could eventually turn into something and that Pittsburgh could play a big role.
