Opal Awards Honors Shirley Jones

Women In Film and Media’s Opal Awards will honor Shirley Jones on Octoper 12, 2009.

The program will begin at 7:30, with a VIP Reception beginning at 5:30. The venue is still to be determined.

Last year’s Opal Award recipient was Emmy Award winning Executive Producer Margaret Loesh. Margaret Loesh recently filmed “Don’t Think About It”, which is part of R.L. Stine’s Goosebump series, in Pittsburgh. Steeltown Entertainment Project founder, Carl Kurlander, gave Margaret her introduction.
