7 p.m.: "My Brother's Wedding" -- Restored, re-edited Charles Burnett film, originally released between "Killer of Sheep" and "To Sleep With Anger."

9 p.m.: "The Walker" -- Third part of writer-director Paul Schrader's "lonely man" trilogy, this time about a well-heeled socialite who covers for a friend and lands in the middle of a criminal investigation. With Woody Harrelson, Lauren Bacall, Lily Tomlin and Kristen Scott Thomas.

HARRIS

7 p.m.: "The Signal" -- Sci-fi horror film, told in three parts by three directors.

9:15 p.m.: "Beauty in Trouble" -- Czech drama about the unlikely romance between an alluring young mother and a kindly, much older Czech expatriate.

MELWOOD

7 p.m.: "Manhattan" -- If this movie doesn't make you want to go to New York, well, nothing will. The festival promises a new print of Woody Allen's 1979 comedy starring Allen, Diane Keaton, Mariel Hemingway and Meryl Streep.

FRIDAY

7 p.m.: "The Nines" -- Three actors play three roles in three stories in this movie edited by Oscar nominee and Filmmakers alumnus Douglas Crise, scheduled to appear.

9:30 p.m.: "The Island" -- A small Russian Orthodox monastery provides the backdrop for this award winner about guilt, salvation and divine healing.

7 p.m.: "The Rocket: The Legend of Rocket Richard" -- See review.

9:30 p.m.: "Beauty in Trouble"

MELWOOD

9:30 p.m.: "Murder Party" -- First part of a double feature about a costume party that turns out to be a trap.

11 p.m.: "Blood Car" -- Second part, a horror comedy set in the future when gas is $32 a gallon and a motorist accidentally discovers new meaning to the phrase blood drive.

9:15 p.m.: "Persepolis" -- Winner of the Jury Prize at 2007 Cannes Film Festival, this animated movie tracks an Iranian girl from age 9 through young adulthood, as she and her homeland undergo changes.

4:30 p.m.: "Times and Winds" -- Coming-of-age tale about three best friends, set in a rural Turkish village.

7 p.m.: "William Barton: Kalkadoon Man" -- Documentary about William Barton's efforts to make a didgeridoo using traditional methods. Barton to perform. Tickets, $10.

9:15 p.m.: "Chronicle of an Escape" -- Argentinian movie revisiting the years of the military dictatorship and chronicling the escape of four young men from a detention camp.

2 p.m.: "Rough Streets" -- A look at BMX bikers, seen through four extreme sports-style videos.

4:30 p.m.: "The Blue-Eyed Six" -- Combo of documentary and historical re-creation of 1880s Pennsylvania crime spree that culminated in insurance fraud, murder and the gallows. Director Brian W. Kreider scheduled to attend.
