Pittsburghers everywhere are invited to come home this Thanksgiving weekend for a special red-carpet screening of the film “My Tale of Two Cities,” November 28th at The Byham Theater, Downtown Pittsburgh, as part of the city’s Homecoming Weekend and 250th birthday celebration. The evening will benefit Steeltown Entertainment Project’s “Youth & Media Initiative” in partnership with the Holy Family Institute.

My story, short film, takes place in the Strip and is one of ten neighborhood stories that will be released as a feature film in the fall.
The story shows the compassion of the people, merchants in the Strip for an elderly homeless guy named Tommy, who is befriended by a young guy who works at Mike's Stuff (Mike Feinberg's). In the story, Tommy, who has a great white beard, is nicknamed Steelers Santa and becomes an icon of the Steelers Nation. The story unfolds from there...
The Sprout Fund will host it sixth annual Hothouse event on Saturday August 23, 2008 on the upper floors of The Union Trust Building in Downtown Pittsburgh.

**Silk Screen Asian American Film Festival Announces its Film Line Up**
Below is the list of the films that will be screened between **May 9-18**.
The opening night film (May 9) is **Before The Rains **starring Nandita Das and Rahul Bose. Director Santosh Sivan will be visiting from India to present the film and conduct a Q&A.

Tickets $15 for students with current ID and Women in Film and Media Members; $20 for patrons
Two of Brad Grimm's films will be screened at the Pittsburgh Film Kitchen May 13. The screening will include the award-winning music video, 'Archetype' which was filmed in 2006 and won a College Emmy in 2007, and will be capped off with the premiere of Grimm's senior film, 'Destroy Jonah Hill'.
Reception begins at 7:00 pm; show begins at 8:00 pm.
