On April 14, Pitt Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg and Vice Chancellor for Public Affairs Robert Hill will cohost a by-invitation-only world-premiere screening of a new film documentary, “The Shot Felt ‘Round the World”, produced by Pitt Film Studies Program faculty member Carl Kurlander.
A new documentary created by the Steeltown Entertainment Project shows how the city of Pittsburgh played an integral role in Jonas Salk’s discovery of the polio vaccine.
