Screenwriter Norman Steinberg to visit Pitt
Screenwriter/Producer Norman Steinberg (“Blazing Saddles,” “My Favorite Year”) will be visiting the University of Pittsburgh on the evening of Thursday December 3rd to talk about what it takes to write for TV.
For those interested in screenwriting, television writing, and the Steeltown Film Factory Competition (www.steeltownfilmfactory.org), don’t miss the chance to hear legendary screenwriter/producer NORMAN STEINBERG whose film and TV credits include: “Blazing Saddles,” “My Favorite Year,” “Johnny Dangerously,” “Cosby,” “Doctor, Doctor” and Showtime’s “Paradise” speak at the University of Pittsburgh on December 7th at 7:30 p.m. in Posvar Hall, Room 1700 (230 S. Bouquet St., Pittsburgh, PA 15260.)
Norman will be giving a beind-the-scenes look at the TV industry and announcing the Fall 2010 launch of the “TV Writers Studio” at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus which he will be heading. Participants can submit writing samples for critique and evaluation for enrollment in the MFA program as well as meet and network with other writers.
