Film Training Program offered by CCAC to Teach "Behind the Scenes" Skills

By Kris on February 4, 2009 4:21 PM | Permalink

The Community College of Allegheny County will offer a noncredit program to introduce people to behind-the-scenes jobs in the film industry, from production to set construction; location management to sound mixing.

CCAC will hold a free informational session about the Film Workers Training program Feb. 4 at its South Campus, 1750 Clairton Road in West Mifflin.

The program begins with an introductory class that highlights membership in trade unions, a requirement to work on most films.

The 10 classes that follow focus on specific aspects and jobs within the industry. To register for the Film Workers Training program, call 412-237-2670 or visit the CCAC website: www.ccac.edu
