Pittsburgh's East End Celebrates Arts, Music, and Culture with the Art Cubed Festival

By Kris on May 19, 2008 1:54 AM | Permalink | Comments (0)

Three of the East End's most flourishing neighborhoods are kicking off summer with the Arts Cubed Festival, a weekend-long event lasting from June 6th and 7th, celebrating the arts, music, and culture found in the Penn Avenue Arts District, East Liberty, and Lawrenceville.

The weekend of festivities begins Friday evening in the Penn Avenue Arts District, and continue all day Saturday throughout all three neighborhoods. The activities include several outdoor events such as sidewalk sales, live performances, as well as businesses and art galleries opening their doors showcasing what the local communities have to offer.
