Auditions for Much Ado About Nothing
The reports of Yorick’s death are greatly exaggerated. Poor Yorick’s Players return this summer with Much Ado About Nothing!
Yorick also has a new home, the Tall Trees Amphitheater in Monroeville Park West. I had hoped to put up a show there last summer, but the construction went a little over schedule (seven months over). The theater is complete now, and I have had the good fortune to be selected as its Technical Director.
The Monroeville Parks and Recreation Department have been very generous, allowing us use of the Amphitheater and all equipment (lights, sound, etc.). It will also serve as our rehearsal space.
Auditions for Much Ado About Nothing are Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1. Rehearsals begin June 16. Performances are August 1-3. All performances are now free of charge.
As always, Yorick is also in need of stage managers and tech crew.
