'Acting For' Film Class

Acting for Film for BEGINNERS with Richard Mason -

Sundays beginning on April 20, 2008 4:00-6:30pm $200 (8 weeks)

In this class, beginning students or actors with no formal training will rehearse and perform scenes from a range of screenplays including recent projects filmed in Pittsburgh.

Each student will be paired with a scene partner and will work on several scenes for the eight week duration. We will also work on Film Audition and Cold Reading Skills

Students will learn basic acting techniques including breaking down the script in to beats and actions, learning how to actively pursue objectives, creating character, and making choices based on the Super-Objective of the character.

This class is limited to 12 students.
