Women In Film & Media To Host International Short Film Showcase

Join 17 Women In Film chapters from around the world as they screen nine original shorts produced and/or directed by women in honor of Women's History Month.
On Saturday, March 8, 2008 Women In Film and Media will be showcasing an exceptional compilation of nine short films directed by some of the world's best female directors. Together the nine short films finalists in the Showcase have garnered over fifty international awards.
The evening will begin at 6:00 pm with a reception, followed by the showcase screening at 7:00 pm.
In addition, WIFM will screen the Public Service Announcement they produced for the Womens and Girls Foundation.
Join local film enthusiasts as they celebrate women, film and all things wonderful in Pittsburgh. Enjoy delicious food, entertainment and a spectacular silent and chinese auction in a casual and upscale atmosphere
